Privacy Policy
Who we are. StrongCon helps Ontario residential developers deliver great purchaser experiences—from pre-sales through warranty. We serve homeowners on the developer’s behalf.
What we collect. Contact details, unit info, appointment times, photos/videos of deficiencies, signatures, messages, portal activity, device/browser data (for security/analytics).
Why we collect it. To schedule visits, resolve deficiencies, document work for warranty/Tarion, keep buildings safe, and keep everyone informed.
Who we share with. Your developer/builder, property management, approved trades, platform providers (hosting, email/SMS, ticketing), and regulators where required (e.g., Tarion). We don’t sell personal information.
Your choices. You can access/correct your info, update preferences, or opt out of non-essential emails/SMS. Operational messages still go out so we can deliver service.
Security & storage. We use appropriate safeguards, keep only what we need, and then securely delete or de-identify it.

1) Scope & Role
This Privacy Policy explains how StrongCon Inc. (“StrongCon”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our websites, portals, communications, and field services (the “Services”). We typically act as an agent of the developer/builder (“Client”). In that capacity, the Client is the primary data controller/responsible organization; StrongCon is a service provider/processor. This Policy also covers StrongCon’s limited role as a controller for our own business operations (e.g., website analytics, vendor management).
2) What We Collect
Depending on your role (developer contact, property manager, homeowner/occupant, trade), we may collect:
Identity & contact: name, email, phone, mailing address.
Project info: unit/suite, building, parking/locker allocations, occupancy dates, appointment windows.
Service data: deficiency descriptions, photos/videos, location in suite, category, timestamps, technician notes, digital signatures, satisfaction surveys.
Communications: emails/SMS to schedule/confirm, portal messages, call notes.
Technical: device/browser, IP, cookies, portal activity logs, error/diagnostics.
Regulatory artifacts: Tarion forms, records related to warranty milestones and technical audits, as directed by the Client.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive government IDs or payment card data. If such data is ever necessary, we will use secure, approved channels or vendors.
3) How We Use Personal Information
We use information to:
Plan and deliver field services (PDIs, appointments, handyman visits, trade escalations).
Log, triage, and resolve deficiencies; capture evidence (photos, timestamps, signatures).
Support Tarion and related warranty processes, including required documentation and technical audits.
Provide a single source of truth for updates, FAQs, and booking links.
Protect health and safety on site and in suites.
Operate, secure, and improve our platforms (including troubleshooting and analytics).
Send operational notices (appointment confirmations, updates, reminders).
Meet legal/regulatory obligations and enforce our Terms.
CASL: We send operational emails/SMS to deliver service. For marketing messages, we rely on express or implied consent; you may unsubscribe at any time.
4) Legal Basis (Canada/PIPEDA)
We rely on (a) your consent (e.g., optional communications), (b) contractual necessity (to perform Services requested by the Client or by you), and (c) legitimate interests of safety, security, quality assurance, and service documentation—balanced with your privacy rights. We also process where required by law (e.g., Tarion/HCRA).
5) Sharing & Disclosures
We may share information with:
Client & property management for project operations and warranty administration.
Approved trades/vendors to complete work (each responsible for licensing, insurance, and their own privacy practices).
Service providers (hosting, ticketing, email/SMS, analytics, e-signature) under contract, limited to the purpose of providing their services.
Regulators/authorities (e.g., Tarion) when required or directed by the Client.
Business transfers (e.g., merger, acquisition) where allowed by law with appropriate safeguards.
