Leadership

Experienced. Steady. Accountable.

StrongCon leadership operates at the intersection of delivery, governance and transition — guiding teams through complexity to ensure outcomes remain clear, defensible and grounded in real-world performance.

Rae Lumsdon

Founder + President

“Projects are delivered once, but lived with for decades. Our work protects what happens after the ribbon is cut and reality begins.”

Rae Lumsdon founded StrongCon to bring clarity and discipline to the most exposed phases of project delivery — where regulatory obligations, public accountability and human experience intersect.
She provides strategic leadership across the firm’s oversight frameworks, compliance systems and communications, while working closely with senior practitioners and trusted specialists who execute the work on the ground. Her role is to set standards, guide judgment and ensure consistency across engagements.
Rae is widely respected for her command of Ontario’s residential and rental compliance environments and her ability to translate complex requirements into clear, workable systems. As StrongCon’s work has expanded into Indigenous‑led and Indigenous‑authorized project environments, she has brought the same discipline to governance alignment, authority clarity and long‑horizon accountability.

The team behind the work.

StrongCon is supported by a senior team of practitioners with backgrounds spanning construction delivery, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, customer and stakeholder operations and independent oversight.
Team members are selected for judgment as much as credentials. They bring field awareness, documentation discipline and a shared commitment to doing the unglamorous work exceptionally well.
The firm scales through trusted specialists and long‑standing professional relationships, ensuring the right expertise is applied to each engagement without diluting accountability, consistency or authority.
We lead by:
• setting clear mandates and boundaries
• expecting evidence, not assurances
• respecting authority while reinforcing accountability
• staying present through follow‑through, not just milestones
